L. O. Albach

I have one of his knives, but I don't know anything about him. The blade is marked "La Palma CA.". I don't even know the blade steel on the 2 1/2 inch blade.

A google search turns up nothing useful. Does anyone have info on Mr. Albach?

I bought a knife from him in the late '80s, and promptly sold it. Put together well enough, but wasn't made to the specs in his catalog. I haven't heard anything about him since.
