Im thinking about pulling the trigger on the L.T. Wright Hunter Pro Elite. They look like they would be a great field knife for hunting mid to large size game animals. Dose anyone have any experience with this knife or any of the L.T. Wright knives ?

LT Wright was one of the owners of Blind Horse Knives, which has since split into Battle Horse Knives and LT Wright Knives.

Both are great people, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a knife from either.

Hi OP,

I haven't any experience with the L.T. Wright company per se but, this is the second thread I found here tonight on L.T. Wright so, I just spend a good amount of time checking out their Knife web site. I must say that I am pretty impressed with several of their knives, especially the COYOTE knife. I'm quite tempted myself to pull the trigger on the Coyote! Best of luck.

I own many Blind Horse Knives and L.T. Wright knives - do not own any Battle Horse - and they are great without question.

I do not own that particular model, but would not hesitate to purchase one if needed.

I do own a custom Woodsman Pro that looks great and works even better.

Buy it and if you don't like it, I will happily add it to my herd. But I doubt you won't like it.

By the way, the guys/gals at LTWK are great and would be happy to answer any questions.

I have owned a few Hunter Pro's. In my opinion they make great knives for field dressing and even skinning whitetails. They are not too big and not too small, and the blade style has a decent amount of belly, but still has a good point for penetrating hide.

I have two Battle Horse Knives and one L. T. Wright knife. I have the Jet. My brother has a Blind Horse knife. Any one of them would be worth buying. Good luck with your new knife.
