I bought my first L. T. Wright GNS in magnacut and upon the very first use on a piece of soft wood the edge just chipped like crazy has anyone else ever experienced this issue with either the maker or the steel ?
I have but have yet to hear back considering I bought it Friday, chipped it Saturday, emailed Sunday, I doubt they’ll get to me today.Nope - that's pretty surprising to hear. But have you contacted LTW? I would assume that they will make it right.

I don’t know how to upload a picturePictures please.
You can upload to a website like imgur, there are plenty of guides available with a simple google search. You can also link Instagram pictures if you're used to using IG.I don’t know how to upload a picture

Yes they said they’ve had a few chips with the new steel and that I could send it in for them to test heat treat and sharpen it but I think I’m gonna sharpen it and try again before I do just to make sure it’s not from belt sharpeningDid you get an answer??
