Saw this the other day and kept going back to it.

I am a huge fan of the Grohmann blades. I have always hoped for a slightly higher spec version out of Grohmann. But I guess their thought process is. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Really can't argue with their long term success.

But this one has been up rated a bit with AEB-L stainless. Nicer furniture and hardware. Yet it appears to retain much of the original's function and charm. So this morning I pulled the trigger on a L.T. Wright Large Northern Hunter with Bocoté wood slabs. from Dale

I find elliptical blades do an excellent job for most of what I like to do. From kitchen to camp, to hunting, they seem to work for me. Plus I find them easy to sharpen.

I am excited and anxiously await it's arrival.

Thanks for the photo.

I keep you guys posted about my thoughts when it arrives. Maybe a side by side with originals.
It measures out pretty close to my #3.
