L21 vs 'Zaan Tanto blades?

A question for the CRK cognoscenti,

Is there a meaningful difference in the shape or grind of the tanto blades on the Large 21 compared to the Umnumzaan? I understand the grind on the new insingo blade Inkosi is different than that on the L 21. Was anything change on the two versions of the Tanto?

Thanks in advance,

Not really, they look different, but I think it's because of the difference in width at the tanto. The Umnumzaan being wider at that point. The 21 tanto is thicker at the very tip of the tanto, it doesn't have the swedge like the Umnumzaan.
So, same tanto grind on two different blades look different. Don't have a clue about the dynamic tanto.
Evidently, I don't have a clue on how to edit pics. Sorry for posting the same pic 4 times, so, I'll just stop there

Well, clearly you have a left hand grind on that 21... ;). Same for the 'Zaan now that I look at it.

Thanks. This is just what I was looking for. As far as you know, are they the same amount of hollow-grind (using the same wheel diameter for both grinds), with the thinnest part of the grind behind the edge about .100"?

Hey Ajack!!
Been on the lookout for a tanto Zaan and I have a question, if you don't mind brother.
In your pic, the Zaan looks much darker. Is it just lighting, or is it really that much darker???
Thanks!!
Joe
