Ok, I don't think this has been asked because everyone else knows
better but I don't so here it goes.

I want to switch from a folder to fixed blade but
can't find one I can carry comfortablely.
I can't conceal much with my frame so I was
looking at "neck-knives" and putting them on my belt
(Iether IWB or Small of back...etc...)
So far I've tryied the Busse AS and Becker BK11
but just can't find one that works.

The knife will be used for all kinds of cutting from
the kitchen to boxes to mail :)

I know the curved blade mite be a problem but what
about the rest of the knife,
Does the shape get uncomfortable?
Can you do detailed work?

Thanks

Fred Perrin originally designed it as a fighter...and I think that's the best use for it. In fact, I think the Emerson version would be even more difficult for day-to-day chores than the original Perrin design. Anyway, I don't think I'd be comfortable using either for any length of time, but we're all different. Maybe you should keep looking for a more 'traditional' style neck knife...and I'm sure people here will chime in with some excellent recommendations.
Good luck

Have you looked at the Bark River mini or mikro canadian? They're both quite small and their designs are better suited to the tasks you're talking about.

Thanks for the info guys
I'm looking at the Bark Rivers now.
Not quiet the design I was thinking of
but it maybe what I need
