La Griffe...Can't Carry Concealed!

The California legislature in its wisdom says that it is ok to carry a 4" folder concealed, but not any fixed blade....go figure. So, what carry options do I have for a La Griffe unconcealed...if any????

Requirements are: 1) Don't attract unwanted attention from LEO's! 2) Don't scare folks on the street. 3) Can't be anywhere a BG can easily grab it.

On my belt or around the neck, it is to obvious and easy to grab. And, I do need to keep my shirt out to cover the folder clipped on my pocket, and that would conceal the La Griffe if it were on the belt.

And, if I were going to carry a fixed blade in the open, I would just be better off carrying something way bigger anyway. I don't really see any workable solution here.....

just walk about with it in your hand, that covers one of your requirements at least ;) or get a thigh rig may be :D

Ironically, the La Griffe is one knife you could carry on a Calif. K-12 school campus (think rowdy HS football game????)! It is under 2.5" and is not a folder, but you have to carry it unconcealed, and that is going to get you lots of unwated attention!

IMO if you aren't getting frisked by the police regularly -or- engage in activitis that attract LEO attention, then just carry it concealed. If you really need to use a knife like that for its intended purpose, it won't matter where you pull it from.
