La Griffe carry suggestions

I have been carrying a HAK for a couple of months now. It seems that every other day or so, I find a new way to carry it. I absolutely love this knife and multi carry options. Off duty it rides clipped under a belt loop using the bro clip. On duty it rides on my gun belt, off hand next to the baton holster. VERY convenient. With my new found love of small back up tools, I have come to the La Griffe after several long nights on the forums. It should be here Monday. My question to all of you Emerson fans is what other carry options have been used besides neck carry (it doesn't work well for me while in uniform.) This of course while using the stock sheath. I am interested in hearing your creative suggestions. Thanks for your help.

I put it into my front right change/watch pocket (in most jeans) with a little bit of paracord for a static cord deployment.

Most of the time you can draw the knife without the sheath leaving the pocket, just catch the edge of the sheath on the pocket and the Griffe comes out.

If not, pull the knife and the sheath comes off without a problem due to the paracord.

Without a doubt, one of the best small fixed blade designs of all time :)

Not trying to push anyone's buttons but....What's the point of a fixed blade knife with a 1.5" blade, other than as a neck knife?

If you are going to carry it in your pocket or on your belt, it takes up as much space as a full size Commander....and probably takes longer to get into action than the waved folder.

Waved knives are far too unreliable on the draw compared to fixed blades. Even the diminutive LaGriffe is more useful than the folder you're fumbling with when someone is pummeling you.

If someone were pummeling me I wouldn't be messing with a knife, I'd be locking joints or taking them to the ground, then worry about drawing a weapon when I have the chance....And the dimunitive LaGriffe isn't very handy buried into a pocket or hiding under your shirt, while the "folder I'm fumbling with" is at the edge of my pocket ready to be deployed.

Draw the knife when you have a chance, it shouldn't be basis of self defense. I've defended myself plenty of times violently, with a folder clipped to my pocket, never needed the knife...

It's not actually in the pocket Gents, the sheath is but the handle is fully accessible.

I'm not talking about the main front right pocket either, but the small "change/pocket watch" pocket just below the belt line.

Easier to bring a fixed blade into a conflict that even a waved folder.

im not a fan of neck carry knives at all. I usually carry my La Griff tucked in side the front of my belt with a bit of paracord to retain the sheath after deploy or a with belt loop made of kydex (actually better than a tek-lok id say) on the right hand side of my belt buckle, it also works well from my jacket sleave pocket with a paracord retainer on the d-ring.

Since your are in the HAK tribe sheath sticks, Rip Cord and the Bro Clip will work with the La Griffe also.

Velcro to the front of your body armor. Can be accessed by either hand, you simply slip your fingers between the buttons of your shirt.

Raghorn, the HAK worked really well clipped to my vest. Can't wait, trying new gear is always interesting.
