La Griffe

Can anyone tell me what kind off carry system comes standard? It might be just what I have been looking for

You get a matchbook sized kydex sheath on a chain or cord. The knife clicks into the sheath extremely securely. After a little practice, I can now resheath it onehanded.

Chain is supposed to be safer since it will break away if someone grabs you by it. Not a problem for me as I use it in utility situations not swinging free in a brawl! Cord is more comfortable, and adjustable.

Overall weight is so little I can't feel it.

I have one it came w/a black chain,it's very comfortable wearing,I don't even know it's there. Good supplemental backup blade
 
laserman, I'm sure the chain is reasonably comfortable too, but you may have less hair on your neck than i do!
 
Would Emerson make a multi carry syst for it? I couldn't tell from their site. I like the concept of "neck" knives in MCS because of the additional possibilities.

I'm sure you can get someone to make you a MCS for it. But think about what size knife we're talking about. You can hide the whole thing in your hand. You could end up with more "system" than "knife".

JSP makes a Horizontal Belt Sleeve that has wraparound wings (go around the belt) with velcro on them. I cannot remember the price, I think about $20.00 and you can use this for other blades as well. You would just slide the LaGriffe in there and a way you go. You could wear it anywhere on the belt, S.O.B., crossdraw, whatever. Just another option that you do not have to "dedicate" to the LaGriffe but can be used for other knives as well.
