Just recieved my Lagriffe. It's a little smaller than i thought it would be. I have heard it refered to as "the ultimate backup". Im not so sure. Maybe it will grow on me. Anyone carry one on a daily basis? If so how? Around the neck? On a chain? Thanks for any input.

I do. Chain, around the neck, daily.

I used to carry a Griffe every day, but now I carry two; my Perrin G10 lives in my wallet (perfect fit, and light as a feather), and either my Custom Perrin Buffalo Horn Bowie OR my Emerson Ti-Griffe rides from my neck. I can't imagine being Griffeless.
BTW, I much prefer paracord to the chain. Much more comfy and silent. In order to avoid being choked by my own paracord, I simply join the paracord with a 3/8" long brass tube which I then crimp to hold the two ends of paracord together. 35-40 lbs of pull will easily seperate the two ends, yet it feels sturdier than the chain.

Very good idea on joining the paracord with a low breakaway coupling. Thanks very much for the clever idea.

Excellent idea.
I wear mine daily with paracord. It's also the only fixed blade that my wife owns. Great knife for her to carry; gives me peace of mind. (she won't carry the Kahr I bought her)

Me too carry my 'griffe at all time (not when ******* though)
Really like it, as for the ultimate backup, it's small but try it out at various clothing items and you'll see the effect, the 'griff bites!
Really impressive cutting power for such a small blade.
Mr. Perrin is very serious about designing his hardware.

Carry mine on duty and off. I also have a concealex sheath made by Eric Noeldechen. It uses a thin piece of paracord.

Just got home from the gun show.Bought my first Emerson,a La Griffe, yes a little smaller than I thought but a great design. As I remember someone else once saying, ask your self what part of your body would you want cut by it?
