This one took me a while. Not that it was a difficult build, but that I just had little snippets of time here and there to work on it. However, I'm happy with it now that it is finished. I managed to get a hold of a top shelf piece of B&W Ebony of which this knife has the first piece. Wonderful stuff, it doesn't feel like natural wood. It feels like stabilized wood but, its not.

Thanks for looking. Please post your comments.

It's a gorgeous knife. The design, the sheath, the materials... everything goes together perfectly.

Another excellent example. Great work. You have a real way with the angles coming out great both with the wood and steel.

That is absolutely stunning and the accents of wood in the sheath pull the whole package together. Excellent overall package

Peter, have I told you lately that you have a nice package?:p

The wood is gorgeous, the grindlines are sharp, the finish is flawless and the sheathwork is amazing as always. This IS among the best I've seen from you. Wherever you were headed with this one, you're there, buddy.

Thank you all very much.

Brian - Yes sir, that's me..... :p

Rick - Thank you, I may be "there", but I'm a looooooooooong way from being where I want to be. I think, like a lot of craftsmen, I look at a finished piece and see only what I could do better.

Thanks for the support folks.

This deserves the bump it got. Over half a year after it was shown here and sold, and I'm still lusting after it. (Actually, I'm pretty sure that's why this got bumped in the first place; I mentioned it in the "out of reach fixed blades" thread.)
