La Thiers Trappeur

I am interested in hearing from anyone who owns a Trappeur. I love the shape of the handle and the knife's specs. It is aesthetically pleasing so I won't have to worry about sheeple concerns.

It looks solid. Is their any play with the blade? Can you comment on the blade thickness? Can I do some heavier work with it?

I have one, I like it. I use around here on our farm. I have also used it to skin deer and other chores. No blade play on mine and it locks up solid. The blade isn't real thick but it is thick enough for heavier chores and remain a good slicer.
