Here's a terrific knife from Jim Crowell, he called it La Violencia. Mortissed Desert
Ironwood, sharpened clip. Jim definitely knows how to put a finish on a knife.

This is my first sheath from Paul Long and it really compliments the knife.

.Win,that is a nice knife.That desert ironwood looks really nice even in pictures,must be real good in person:thumbup:.
That Paul Long sheath is a fine looking one.What type of leather overlay on it. Is the inside of the sheath, lined or left "raw".
La violencia,that title is too too violent for a peace loving man like yourself:D
 
The wood on that one is really nice !

great set up, the sheath does work well :thumbup:
 
Win, that is a beaut and I told you, Paul Long does some pretty nice stuff !

Raj, my guess would be that it was lined, but maybe Paul will chime in on that.

Very nice knife and sheath. I quite like the blade profile on this knife. Jim is one of the really good guys.

The over lay is the same leather as the base sheath, it's taken down to about 1/32" thickness and then applied as an over lay. It has been tooled to give the pebble grain effect. Inlay is Alligator.

All, 100%, Every single one, of my sheaths are fully lined either with Deer skin or the aformentioned 1/32" cowhide.

The knife is really stunning and the sheath compliments it well.

Is this the knife you have been-ahem-waiting on for a long time?
