Remember Bill..........no laboring on Labor Day..................;)

Have a happy one!

Soldddd!!!
I done been in the shop bro all morning come in for a bite to eat, gotta make that dollar, ill have a batch done tonight!!!hehehehehe

BA, calling one of your knives "a beater" is like saying a Porsche is "just a car" . . . . . :D :D :D
Great looking combo once again, that Buckeye burl really turned out well with the patina blade.
Excellent job, but take a break today & enjoy some down time, all of us will still be here tomorrow . . . . .
Be safe.

Personally,I'm OK with it if he wants to keep on working today....just don't want him to burn out.

If I had talent like BA or KFU or DFK or Ray Laconico...I'd be eating peanut butter & honey sammitches on 7-grain bread with one hand, swallowing dexedrine & caffeine with the other, and occasionally fondling self with a handful of razor blades.

That "dollar" will be there another day.......and for many yet to come.............but only if you're able........;)

I'm surely not above what I preach (and likely far beneath), but stress is the biggest widow maker, even at your young, tender age.........;)

Im fine guys, 9 yrs of it, hell im not gonna get burnt out now!! Its my eternal flame

I retired in '04 from LE with 28 years ( + 2 years in the USMC = 30yrs.). Had I stayed in LE, I'd now have 35 years LE service time. Could have done it, but surely didn't need nor want to. Was good while it lasted and helped me to raise my family and feel that I was contributing, but it wasn't a passion as your knife building is to you. My passions are all outdoors (huntin'/fishin')......;). So that's what I do now almost daily......excepting the more often than not, near weekly BA Custom knife buying.......:D:D

Sooooooooo.........do what pleases you and if monetary benefits come as a byproduct of your passions, more power to you....

But remember......nobody passes on (the majority of people anyway....:D) wishing that they'd spent more days at work......;).

Take care Bill.

Agree with brother magnumb! but just had to give BA some static!

Folks, how does the old saying go about the lucky guy who lives for his work, but doesn't work for a living . . . . or something like that ??? ??? ???
How lucky would we all be to have that every day . . . . . ;)
And on a side note, does anyone else on here have a problem with the word "beater" and BA's name in the same sentence after seeing his work ??? ??? lmao . . . . :D
Be safe.

I hear you J1M. I wouldn't mind havin' a few of Bill's "beater" knives layin' around the house. LOL
