Headed back up to Wishon for a nice 5 day Labor Day trip. This time, Boomstick and his girlfriend, and my wife's cousin and husband joined us, as well as my Dad, but that's a given.

We got to spend some more time on the boat and get some fishing in. Unfortunately it was a full moon, which is never good at Wishon. My dad and I did manage to catch 3 each though, and my dad got a nice 16"+ holdover rainbow.

Of course there was plenty of drinking going on, good eating, and it wouldn't be a camping trip with my wife without smores.

One of the highlights for me was watching one of the resident mating Osprey pair chase off a bald eagle! I thought the Osprey's were big, but dang that bald eagle was noticeable bigger. Also saw one of the Osprey's flying back to it's nest with a fish.

My wife was sure to document her firemaking skills, so I can show them off to you guys, while we were out fishing.

Sorry for the lack of pics of the group, but my wife's cousin's were in most of them, and I didn't want to post them without there permission.

But that's half of what fishing is all about. Most of those pictures were from spots I never would have gotten to if it weren't for the boat and my pursuit of a good fishing spot.

Mike, Russell, maybe next time, the invitation is always open...
