Labor Day Weekend Salmon River Fun

Later gents, I'm out 'til Wednesday morning, floating the second deepest gorge in North America. Get to see the confluence of the Snake and Salmon Rivers again, and hopefully have some fun in some Class IV whitewater. Got new kit so I'm interested to see how it performs. Pics and stories to come... hopefully some good ones... T Minus 5 days.

Well I'm back after 5 days of fun. A few swims, no major incidents, twisted an ankle and have a few scrapes and bruises but for the most part good to go. Wrapped up the ankle with one inch medical tape to give it support and it's been holding up well. I have 1607 photos to upload, so between classes I'll be working on that all day-expect to see lots of intermittent pictures.

Game Day

Dinner-prime rib and roasted potatoes (from dutch ovens) and bread pudding with whiskey sauce for dessert

9 pooches on the trip, all of which were a hoot
