Since this is the say when we pay homage to the working man, I thought it would be neat to see some of your hardest working knives!
Here's mine:

This little Bonestag Peanut has been through hell and back again, and has served me extremely well. It has cut more than I thought it would, worked in all kinds of conditions (sand, mud, rain, cold, heat, etc) and done everything from skinning animals to cutting twine, from cutting hemp rope and breaking down boxes, to cutting up steak and ribs. From opening up clam packages, to cutting loose pieces of thread off my daughter's dress. Whatever I've needed it to do, it did. While I no longer EDC this little big guy, it is still my hardest working knife.
What's yours?

I would like to take a brief instant in time to salute the American worker. God bless us, every one. (-Tiny Tim)

Great thread for Labor Day. I have no photo options but my daily work knives are Uncle Henry 885UH, Buck 301 DW and Buck 110. They all have served me well and continue to work. Thanks and bless all workers on this Labor Day.

Hi,

A good idea for a thread!

This Boker Grand Canyon Barlow is the one that often ends up taking the beating. It just seems to end up being in my pocket when the hard work shows up. Here it's wearing a bit of copper wash from cleaning battery terminals.

This barehead trapper has seen it's fair share of labor through the years, it is mostly retired these days but still stays razor sharp and ready to re-enter the work force when needed...

Great thread.....nothing I like seeing better than a good used "workin" knife! After all, isn't that what they are meant for? Hope to see more great pics!

i've carried this recruit for the last 4 years and it has never let me down though it looked a little ratty.

it's semi retired now and quite the looker i must say.

i wish i had some pics of my old boker whittler but it is now lost to the ages. that knife may be the only one i came close to wearing out the blade. few traditionals, before or since, were it's equal. it was a true work horse and never let me down.

This 194OT Schrade has been an EDC more than any other single knife I've ever owned and thus has done more work than any other single knife I've ever owned. Someday one of my newer ones may overtake it, but that hasn't happened yet.

I don't carry this one anymore, but it sits on my workbench and gets more use than probably any other.

I can't remember which I've done the most damage to now. The green one on the bottom right is my dad's and he's the one that sharpened the blades down to scalpels (which is why I snagged it up when he offered it to me - good splinter gitter knife). The top left is an old Valor that I think my grandmother gave me for 8th grad graduation. I can't remember if I used it or the Old Timer pictured there so much at a carpet store after school that one of the blades started bending backwards when cutting twine.

Unfortunately I'm the hack that did all the damage to the OT and the Valor.

I carried this Camillus-made Buck 303 everyday for about 10 years back in the 80's. It did everything I needed a knife to do.

This is my old Friedrich Herder working knife, that my parents gave me almost 20 years ago and that I used a lot on the farm.

This is another working knife, the EKA Swede 60.
