question about the file work...... What do you use to fill it in? And then clean it up? Epoxy?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, thankyou..

It is filled with epoxy and cleaned up with various grit papers..

thankyou,
Lance.

Is the spacer pewter as well as the middle layer in the scale? Do both layers of micarta start out the same thickness? Looks like the outer layer gets thinned down quite a bit when shaping.

Very nice, adds just enough to be called elegant, but not be afraid to use!

There is only one pewter liner and this is set so that it sita 4mm from the side that meets the steel. The other side which is what you see from the side has a thickness of 6mm to allow for shaping.

Thankyou for the compliments guys, they are very much appreciated.
cheers,

Lance.

Wow, I'm not normally a big fan of filework work either....but that looks so classy, I have made an exception! Kudos on that beautiful piece.
