lack of liner be weak?.

Would a folder with one g-10 scale and one scale ti frame lock be a weak handle, would the g-10 hold out or mishape over time etc?

On mine (SmF, SnG, Emerson CQC-12) it's been fine.
Just look at those Tri-Ad lock Cold Steel knives with ONLY G-10 for scales, no liner on either side.
They seem to hold up to lots of use.:thumbup:

I like more strength as well...but have never actually needed it.:)
 
What Brother Stabman said. There are plenty of things in this world to worry about, but in my view linerless G10 scales are not among them.
 
There's actually a youtube video of somebody testing a linerless Recon 1 I think because he though the no liners might be a weak point, stuck the blade halfway into a piece of wood and pulled laterally from the very edge of the handle to see if the g10 would flex or break first, but the blade was actually the first part of the knife to give out.
