i would love to have a blade made by him(or you if you read this:p) but i dont know how to get ahold of him.im sure someone on here knows how so any help on trackin him down would be excellent,thanks guys!

Ray's blades are top top notch. I currently have 3 by him and they are all among the favorites in my collection of customs. Highly recommended and just a real gentleman to deal with.

Yeah, I found your knives in the for sale section... And their always sold before I can get to 'em :D. I don't even bother getting excited anymore if more then 2-3 people of already replied to the thread. Some hawkeye has already jumped on it.
 
I have around 8 of Rays knives in all different sizes and shapes - every one of them is absolutely the best it could be. I love Rays knives and Ray is the best to deal with. He gives you the greatest bang for the buck as far as design, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Ray is always very prompt with shipping. I would buy every one of his knives that come up for sale if I could, they are that nice. Thanks Ray for such a nice product - your knives are a joy to own.
 
You just have to haunt the knifemakers for sale area. You do it enough and you will get 1st refusal on many "grail" knives. I check it about every six hours and there's been many times I coulda bought a knife by Ray just no damn money to do it ;)

Ray's knives pop up from time to time...gotta keep a keen eye in the right section

I am not sure who you are - but he is looking to get a hold of Laconico - you know - the knife maker?

If you can't help him do that - post somewhere else! ;)

Hang in there!

This happened to me for 12 months; then that magic moment hit. Now, I'm a "happy camper" (I have a top-performing Laconico camp knife).

It's worth it.:thumbup:

He's out there: a guerrilla knife maker who's work pops up in the For Sale Area from time to time. Elusive as a moon shadow at midnight. Be patient my friend, your vigilance will pay off.....
 
I have picked up two of his knives now... He responds very quickly to emails. Great knives and a very good price.

Just hang in there, and you will eventually get one on the for sale forum - either from a forumite or from Ray directly in the maker's for sale forums. It is worth the wait.
