I wanted to share some pics of my Laconico-Wohlwend-Hazard knife and take an opportunity to say thank you.
First, I would like to say thank you publicly to Mark and Ray for generously giving me one of the collaboration knives. When I submitted the design I had no idea that I would be receiving one of them. It was very generous of both of you to give this to me when you both have your time, talent, and money invested in it. Thank you.
I just received it today and I haven't had a chance to really work it out but I have no doubts it will work well. I have been wearing it around the house looking for excuses to cut things. It is exactly what I envisioned when I set about designing it.

As you can see, it is especially cool that both makers added their maker's marks. Mark is shown on the side and Ray on the spine. You can also see how thick and hand filling the scales are. Speaking of the scales... this is my first knife with burlap micarta and I am impressed. It feels quite grippy without being harsh.
I am just thrilled. Thank you again Mark and Ray.
