This is a damast knife I finished some time ago. blade is made out of 1.2767 and 1.2842 (O2) it has a ladder pattern.
Handle is green ebony with a mosaic pin. Guard is micarta. The knife is really light which makes it very quick. tried to cut some free hanging rope, it went right through it (was small rope 1.5 cm thick). Since it is not allowed to carry a knife like this in Holland, my father made a nice presentation box.
