Here's a 9 5/8 inch fighter in 1084 and 15n20 Danascus with a really tight ladder pattern, double-forged, with the ladders ground in on 1/8 inch centers.
The guard, vine file-worked collar, and fluted oval butt-cap are Damascus, with nickel-silver spacers.
The handle is stabilized African Blackwood.
Kenny Rowe did the black, basket-weave, cross-draw sheath, with belt stud.
Hope you like it.

A nice tight ladder pattern never goes out of style. That is a sick and classy piece. Love the blackwood.

As always, that is a beautiful piece. The blackwood is a perfect compliment to the damascus...

Wow. Very nice! Beautiful damascus!

The combination African Blackwood/Damascus seems to be very popular nowadays. And not surprising, because it works very well!

Kind regards,

Jos

Absolutely perfect! I have one very similar to it with a carbon blade and it is definitely one of my favorites.
