Here is the latest out of my shop. First time for laddered w's for me. 14.5" over all and 9" blade, about .25" at the riccaso. Guard is twisted w's, though it look like just twist :( dommed stainless pin in a nicely figgured DI handle. Balance is right under my mark. Let me know what you think. Critique welcomed. ill make a sheath next.

Bad pics, I know. I'll try tomorrow in the light.

The basic design is beautifully simple, the materials and execution is extraordinary. Thank you for sharing.

I love the shape of the blade. The damascus and the ironwood are both very nice.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I would have to say Wheeler has influenced my guards.... And blades.... And handles! I'm quite sure I have never had an original idea in my life. I mean REALLY original, on the backs of giants right! And not just giants, regular joes too!

I'll work on the sheath for it, but progress will be slow. Got lots of irons in the fire right now.

That's a really good iteration of that pattern. That's what I want my laddered w's to look like!

That is awesome!!! I've been wanting to try that for some time now, seeing yours is a real encouragement to give this a try.

Love that guard too!!!

Absolutely gorgeous work Cody! Beautiful damascus and guard. Terrific blade profile and your sheath really completes this fine package!:thumbup:

Nice.

Laddered W's and ironwood is such a beautiful, classic, combination.

Hard to tell for sure, but it appears that the clip is not sharpened, which I prefer personally.
