She does not want one! Why would youi keep bugging her? Try buying her something she likes. Everyone will be happier.

My advice is don't get her a knife if she doesn't like knives:)

Buy her something that she really likes and wants....ask her.....makes the world of a difference. Women are strange that way:)

some good advice from a woman, if she doesn't like something don't try to find one she'll like cause she won't it will be resented and will make her dislike knives even more. buy her a nice piece of jewelry, a nice ring or earrings. woman hate "utility" type gifts i.e. washer dryer, iron, dish washer etc.

Buy her what SHE wants, but also buy her a Leatherman Micra to put in her purse or on her keyring. I'm sure she'll like the "cute" scissors.:D.

Jewelry (ear rings or bracelets, one size fits all). If she likes any knives she'll take yours or otherwise let you know.

Pretty much just echoing the same sentiment expressed by others here. Drop the knife idea. If you want to get her into a knife, leave a catalog with decent knives on it lying around, maybe when you're out and about town ask if you can spend ten or fifteen minutes in a knife shop (best asked after you've suffered through five hours in the women's clothing department) Use your own handly lil' knife in front of her, but above all Don't push the topic! If she sees a knife she likes, she'll mention it to you. If you go buying her a buncha knives based on speculation, you'll wind up with a pile of badly selected gifts collecting dust in some drawer. I aint tryin' to pretend I know the first thing in the world about women, when I don't, but there are a few lessons I've learned the hard way, and this is one of them.

LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY!! SAVE YO SELF THE AGONY OF A WOMANS SCORN!!:D :D DON'T GO THROUGH THE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA OF THE DREADED EYE ROLLING, HISSING, SIGHING, STOMPING, "NOTHING'S WRONG" ACT! I SHALL NEVA AGAIN BE DA MAN I ONCE WAS BEFORE MAKIN' DAT GRAVE MISTAKE OF BUYIN' MAH LADY A KNIFE!! CAN I GITS AN "AMEN!" FROM DA CONGRETATION??!!

there...if that don't convince ya' may God have mercy on ya'...one look at my tortured mind should convince anyone...

:D

Amen.
Get her a knife, but NOT as a birthday, or any other gift. get here what she wants, get the knife another day, "just because".

Get her a Kershaw Chive. She will love it.Even knife haters love the Chive.:)

Thanks for your thoughts. I wasn’t thinking about the knife as gift itself, just a little something added.

(Yep, I know that diamonds is the best woman’s friends)

The problem is that I like her very mutch, but she don’t understand my “knife obsession”. I think most of you know that look in her eyes when new knife comes in.

Anyway I believe everyone is knife nut in this hart, just right knife is necessary to convince him/her.

I think this year it will be micra. For some strange reasons I think that girls should like smaller “utility” type. (Couple weeks ago there were little party and one of girl, was obsessed by my BM 43, all evening trying windmill opening. Go figure out what woman wants.)

Unless you're telepathic, don't bother trying to pick a knife for her.... as others have suggested, drag her to a good knife store for a couple of minutes after you've suffered the agony in the women's clothing section and check her reaction to see if she likes any of them. If she doesn't, forget about it.
Thank god that my sister liked the CRKT Falcon that I got her....

My girlfriend carries a Spyderco Ladybug with a Reeve style lanyard to help facilitate an easier opening. Usually, she's pretty picky about her blades but sometimes she'll just take whichever new knife I get that she likes....but what am I going to say?!
