Hello All,
Sorry, that was meant to be Slipjoint of course.
I'm trying to remember the name of lady who makes slipjoints.
The last time I saw one of her knives was in the exchange thread about a year ago.
Very high quality maker.
Any ideas?
Many Thanks

There are many top female talents in the custom knife making world but when it comes to slip joints the only one that comes to mind is Grace Horne. I am sure there are others.

I'm trying to find this maker because Grace is making up a list of woman uk makers. The lady I'm looking for is not uk based but US based. She was trying to sell a couple of very nice slipjoints she had made about a year ago. Not sure if they sold or not. They looked very good though.
Got a feeling Todd Davidson congratulated her on her work, but I may be wrong.

Can't seem to find any images of gayle's knives here.
Don't think it was her.
Thanks for the link Morrow, I'd managed to find that one. None or the makers seems to be the one I remember.
She was selling in the exchange section in the region of $400 I think and seemed to be a new maker.
No one bought them as far as I recall. Think she posted two knives. They looked very well made.

Thanks again

I remember gayles knife now. I was tempted to buy it at the time.
The one's I'm after were posted around the same time that one was offered for sale.
Nothing complicated about them, just fine looking slipjoints.

Thanks for the link Pipeman, very nice looking work.

Grace Horne makes some very different slip joints but her work is hard to find on the net. If you google there are some in a picture gallery but not all the knives are hers. Mainly an artist working in different mediums.

Robin

I love Grace Hornes work. Her enamel and silver knives are amazing and different.
