Ladybug 3 Foliage Green - Different versions?

I'm wanting to buy a foliage green ladybug 3, but am kind of confused. There seems to be a bright green version and a more grayish green. I've read foliage green tends to look different in different environments, but the Spyderco logo seems to be in a different position on the frn handle as well. They are both the same model numbers and both described as Foliage green Ladybug 3. I've found both variations for sale on a variety of websites.

Can anyone offer any insight?

I have the exact same ladybug shown in the top photograph. I believe that is the official Ladybug 3 in foliage green.

The bottom one looks like a Ladybug 2, to me. It has the older volcano-style FRN, rather than the newer bi-directional FRN pattern.

The bottom is forest green made a few years ago.Two different colors.

I think the bottom picture is actually a "photoshop" job. Somebody paired up the handle from the Forest Green Ladybug I that Rycen mentioned with a VG-10 Ladybug III blade.

In reality, those were AUS-6, but had no steel marking, just SPYDERCO on the blade. Photo of the serrated version here.

The only thing I can add here is - Foliage Green does appear to change colors (that is why it's the base of the military digicam uniforms). It's the way your eyes react to the color that allows it to "blend" so well.

True, but it's always going to stay with an range of grayish and/or tan/brownish greens. It will never look as dark or as bright green as the forest green.

It must be some websites and ebay sellers are mistakingly using the Ladybug 2's stock photo for the Ladybug 3.

The Ladybug 2 has a sheepfoot blade, like the Rescue. They might be mixing up a Ladybug 1 and a Ladybug 3, but you would know right away if they used a Ladybug 2 pic. :D

Bingo. You can tell by looking at where the blade meets the handle. Top is legit.

Yep definitely looks like a Photoshop job. That blade is from the LB3 and that handle from LB1.

The LB1 doesn't have as big a hole, as much belly in the blade, or as much contouring in the shape of the handle. You can see the difference below.
LB1 on top with 1/2 SpyderEdge, LB Salt in the middle and the Jester at the bottom. Jester and LB3 shared the same handle until the Jester was discontinued.
