Ladybug and Delica.. What a Nice Pair!

Ok, I've been EDCing a PE FRN Delica for quite a few months now and though I am anticipating to use it as much as I can, there are still some occasions in which I am out-numbered by sheepies.. :D So... though I still think that it is a bit of overkill to carry more than one folder in an urban area, I've no choice.... (hehehehe :cool: ) but finally convinced myself to get a PE black FRN Ladybug as my Delica's companion, so I can flash it out for all my small cutting needs without worrying about all those irrational comments/opinions from the sheepies..

Enough for the background, here's what I wanna say about this new pair. They are just simply perfect to go with each other! I am carrying both of them now, cuz personally I don't feel I am "adequate" by only carrying a small knife like the Ladybug (yeah I know I am so insecure hahahah). It just feels right and more assured when u know a decent sized folder (like the Delica) is in your pocket. Small size aside, another reason I chose the Ladybug over the Jester is the blade shape, just like the PE Ladybug better, when paired together with the Delica they just like they are supposed to be sold in pair. Way to go, Spydie!
 
Another nice thing that I like about the set up: 2 knives for a merely 2 ounces in weight. Keep selecting my EDC gear in this direction I believe that one day, sooner or later, I will be light enough to fly by myself. :cool:
 
Welcome to the forums Aka Tok. Yes a very good combination indeed. I carry a 50/50 Delica clipped to the pocket and a red Ladybug on my keychain. Works well for most occasions and as you said, so light you hardly know they are there. :D

Hi Flinx. Yup they're just nice to be together. By the way, it's embarassing to tell u that I've actually been around for a while. :p Just messed up with the email address when I was updating my profile a few months ago. :D Thus my name "Aka" Tok. :D So I was "Tok". Hehehe.
 
Gotcha....Just installed a new hard drive and had to dig through my notes to find all my passwords to various sites. :cool:

Whew... a week has been gone already since I got the Ladybug... what a cool little knife.. I am not sure how many ppl have already known about this holding method but here we go: hold it between your index and middle fingers, make a fist and voila: instant claw. Open up boxes with that position is simply so fun and enjoyable. :cool:

Only wish that someday it will have a version made in VG-10 (gotta love the way it holds an edge). Hope the demand will soon justify its production.

Man, I agree...I have had a CE Ladybug on my keychain and my steady carry knife was mainly a CE Delica as well. I still have the Lady on my keychain, as I am gonna see just how many years I can keep her cutting!

My CE Delica still gets carry time now and then, but my main Delica now is a PE Blue..."Senior Moment" knife, SE Endura in fanny bag... :D
