I have been carring the Ladybug since July and I am impressed. What a great knife for light weight EDC. It disappears in my pocket and is great for the simple cutting task that i do on a daily basis. Opening letters, boxes, peeling apples, etc..... I use it for work everyday. I work in a high school. Nice and small so I don't scare people.

My other Spyderco is a Sage. The Sage is the nicest knife I own, and it spends most of the time in a box on my dresser. It usually get some use on the weekends.

I would like to get another small Syderco, but not sure what? I like the 2" to 2.5" blade size. Lots of knives in this range. Spyderco's little big knives are very impressive.

You would probably love the Dragonfly 2! Mine is coming on the 25th so I cannot attest to its greatness... yet.

I agree, a dragonfly 2 would be perfect. I carry a serrated h1 version everyday as a backup to a larger knife and it is excellent.

G10 manbug or jester. They weigh more but its cool having high quality folder that is so small.

Spyderco has quite a few choices in that range. Cat, Chicago, Squeak, Leafstorm, Spin, Cricket, Kiwi 3...... The Kiwi is nice because it has a quite small profile, but with the finger choil it gives you a comfortable full 4 finger grip.

Dragonfly, definitely check it out
If you can't let go of the ladybug put on key chain or stick it in another pocket

I have the Manbug, which is just a slightly thicker Ladybug. Definitely a good little knife for its size.

For a step up, get the Dragonfly in ZDP-189

I like the Squeak for that sort of work. It is a slipjoint, but I don't feel handicapped when it is used for boxes, apples, etc.

The Dragonfly was not on my radar, but it is now. I need to go handle some knives. A mall near by has a lot of spydercos. Some ones I am considering; manbug, jester, dragonfly, techno, pingo, urban, Chicago, caly, etc.......

It's a fun choice to make. Even if I don't get a new knife I still have my ladybug. Love that blade!

Ditto on the Dragonfly ZDP. Great little knife as is the Ladybug. I just added a Hawkbill H1 SE to my Ladybug collection.

My Photon Ladybug is one of my most prized possessions. I've been eyeing a ZDP-189 'Bug for my keychain for a while now.

I have been putting off getting a manbug/ladybug for the reason that I am afraid I wont have many uses for any of my other knives anymore. Scary thought. Am I correct to assume this?

I don't think you are. Keep in mind that these are tiny little knives. Very capable, but tiny. You won't even notice one in your pocket, so that makes plenty of room for another EDC to keep it company

My daily work EDCs for the past two weeks or so have been the brown Para 2 and the Manbug on my keychain.
