I picked up a Ladybug Salt H-1 a couple of weeks ago, this being my first Spyderco. What a cool little knife! Very high quality and functional and the fact that I can take it with me to the ocean without worry is also a big plus. The blade came very sharp out of the box and I tied on a short orange paracord lanyard, which makes it easier to hold onto when opening one handed.

The blade shape is great and if they made the full size Salt 1 with the same pointed blade shape I'd grab one for an every day carry knife (the tip is fairly blunted). Not sure if this is something Spyderco might discontinue in the future but if they so this is sure to become a collector's item. Awesome little knife all in all.

Been looking at one of those. I got a Pacific Salt, and its very nice. Knowing it will never rust is a nice lil bit of piece of mind. Figure having one of these on my keychain could be very useful.

Yep the Salt series is what I was looking for as travel knives. I usually travel to the Caribbean or Florida once a year and in the past would EDC my first Gen Dragonfly. I'd use it in salt water and fortunately never had any rust issues other than very minor pitting.
Going forward I'll be EDCing one of the H1 Ladybugs (the 2nd is now my wife's) and my Salt1 or Pacific Salt (depending on where I'm going).
