Just received a serrated Ladybug and I'm impressed. It's even smaller than I expected, but on the handful of things I've cut to test it out, it cuts like a beast! Also, I'm impressed with the level of quality. The blade may not be the smoothest while opening, but the materials are top notch and the lock up really seems to grab the blade. For how tiny this knife is and for spending under $20 shipped, I'm beyond impressed.

Now I wanna hear some Ladybug war stories. What's the most intense job you've put your Ladybug through?

I used my Hawkbill Ladybug to tear up some old carpet. It worked like a champ.

Pics, or it didn't happen. :p

Mine H1 SE rode on my lifejacket for a year while I was testing out H1 (ended up with a tasman se another impressive cutter) That Ladybug got used fairly hard, cut through 3/4" nylon rope that both new pieces and stuff that had been holding our docks down for a year full of sand and crap. It cut open many boxes, did that extremely well, cut some sheets into rags, and cut though a 1/2" solid chunk of plastic that is the lobe of a mount of jetfloat dock (was really impressed with spyder edges right then and there)

Now it lives the pampered life in my mother purse, she uses it at work and I rarely see it, just the otherday though it came out to play and open packages of hardware for her new porch furniture, still sharp but touched it up anyways. hellofa knife those ladybugs, my dad now has a bug (takes a real man to cut off small limbs of trees with it to make marshmellow sticks)

:) good job spyderco!
