this is great little keychain knife....sharp and strong

my question is what kind of steel is used in the ladybug?

440?
aus 8?

some other?

thanks.............Bill

What about this one? It's only a wee bit longer than a Ladybug (about 5" OAL). Ti handles and S30V (or Stellite 3K ;) ) blade. The round hole is pretty large (13 mm), like the ATR's.

Thank you for watching.

It is a great little knife. For anyone not familiar with Spyderco's edge, they'd probably be shocked at what a little blade can do.

ATS-55? It's one of my favorite steels (and so one of the most underrated IMHO) :(. Now I know what I wish for Christmas... ;)

Good luck finding one - it's been several years since they were made. Don't give up hope, though. I just ordered both of the mini Police models from a few years back. I'd given up on finding either, and I found both at one site! Good prices as well.

The LCF is a very nice little knife. If I had two, one would stay on my keychain.
