Lagest Knife with Res C Grip ?

Was the largest knife done with a Res C Grip a Battle Rat? The old black on black one?

Has there ever been a 12 inch blade done with Res C?

I'd say either of the three above. Didn't they all come with 9" blades? As far as thickness goes, I think the Dog Father is the thickest of the bunch.
 
Is there only the NMFBM out of all of Bussekin which is 12 inches? I thought Swamprat did something....
 
I know the Rat Mastiff was micarta and will check out the Rat Daddy .... but I thought there was a long blade with some form of guard on it ... bigger than the others?
 
Did someone say Battle Rat?!

One of my all time favorite knives for HEAVY usage...:cool::thumbup:
 
Ah...Rat Guard ....that must be it ....but it is smaller than I thought....so the largest must be the Battle Rat .... a 10 inch blade IIRC .....and some have tan and others black Res C grips .... thanks for the replies guys ....:thumbup:

I thought the Battle Guard was the same knife as the Battle Rat with the exception that it had an additional guard...
 
Yes I think you are right ...in which case the largest blade is the Dogfather/DFLE at 10 inches .... the Battle Rat being 9.5 ....
 
The biggest is the Dogfather, a notch larger than any of the Battle Rats or the Basic 9. If you want the thickest Dogfather you need to find the sabre ground Desert Dogfather. It is a BEAST!

+1 I picked up a DDF from KH awhile back, and it is a sweet chopper. Not too blade heavy, and the res-c does make it comfy to whack things.
