Looks like a handy little necker/SD/last ditch knife!

...for some reason...it reminds me of suffering through my son gettimg circumsized...yee-owch!

simple...and wicked! nice stuph, Ban :D

Stupid sharp PIKAL LaGriffe . . . wow. That is probably the scariest knife I've seen since I've been at Bladeforums.

Great work on that.

I will make more if there is.enough interest for them. Will have to do them in a batch. With Waterjet blanks. Those big holes are a pain to drill.

I am thinking somewhere in the 185 range for either 1/8 or 3/32 thick S30v, S35vn, or cpm-154

Got a few of these Titanium blanks ready to be ground up and finished.

I want to check those guys out at the next get together. Sweet

ETA: Seriously. I always though a Titanium LaGriffe would be insane. Super light, does the job w/ your carbide edge, won't rust on necker duty...

Are you going to make any with the normal edge (not reverse)?

Almost done with the Ti Pikal Lagriffe. Just need to give it a frosty, countersink holes, bevel all corners, apply carbide edge, and then sharpen it up.

This Ti Pikal Lagriffe is so light that you won't even feel it on you. The reason why I adapted Fred Perrin's Lagriffe style handle to a reverse edge pikal is so that it would be a compact super potent SD knife. The index finger hole and reasonable sized handle makes for a ultra secure grip

I have a wharnie and hawkbill blade lagriffe drawn out and may decide to make it someday. I am not in a hurry to make them because Fred Perrin makes custom lagriffes with various blade shapes. Emerson also makes a hawkbill version that is very nice and readily available. However, the Ti versions are a great deal more money and somewhat hard to find.

Yeah, I'm sure that thing just locks in, and you must be able to really pull on it with the full size handle.

I've been wanting to pick up the emerson lagriffe...just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yep, it locks in supertight making it very hard to disarm.

Wow I am not usually interested in this application of a knife but that thing is SICK!!!

Thanks man!

Got to watch Ban grind this one up, the man has skills! I've handled the S30V lagriffe pikal before, but the titanium version feels like a whole new knife, the thing is SO light!! I'd hate to be on the bad side of this pikal...

Finally got it done. Will post it up FS on the exchange in a few. I got a video of it slicing paper and through some 1 1/4" thick foam. Will see about loading up the vid when I get home later. Sorry about the crappy pics. My DSLR is still at my Bro's place.
