Had a long weekend and took the train to Paris and met up with some friends who are showing their daughter around Europe. I got there a day early and did some wandering around on my own. Ran across this knife shop and had to drop in. I've seen them at the Solingen show, but never visited the shop before. I apologize for the lack of photos, but there was only one person working the shop and she was very helpful, showing me a number of knives, but also somewhat cautiously watching another guy who came in right after I did and started trying to handle everything in the shop. They have some fantastic knives, and I may have to go back for one I passed on, but I did pick up a new knife for the kitchen and another for my pocket. If you're in Paris I recommend taking the time to visit.

where is that castle on the poster located? John

I would love to spend some time in a genuine French knife shop, though my wife would quickly lose patience with me. Alas, I have to content myself with purchasing LeAs online.

Sorry I mean the knife shop not the castle.....althoouugh...a knife shop in a castle .....how good would that be?
