Well, I ever so cautiously stepped across the ice-covered road (2" of ice! ) to my mail box. And this is was the mail-lady brought me...........

I was never as exited about the Lahar as I was the JYDII............but that was until I held it. Very solid, great lines, and very comfortable! My only issue with it is that I tended to grip it a little hard and I noticed the handle compress a bit. But no matter how hard I grip it, that lock will not shake loose! Great construction!
Now to send some of my unused knives off to the Bay, I can buy the composite JYDII, and maybe the Yellowhorse Leek. Now that is one great looking blade (to just leave sitting on a shelf unless I'm in a suit
)!
