Lakota Knives ... who knows?

Wow.
I haven't heard that name for a long while.
I think folders were made by Moki in Japan.
Heavy duty knives.

yes Lakota was made by Moki and sold through Fox Ridge Outfitters (at least the first place I saw them) ... but Fox Ridge Outfitters disappeared soon after I bought a couple Lakotas ... then they were sold from a handful of other places ...

they were VG-10 for the most part ... they made a line of folders and a line of fixed blade to match in small through larger blades ... and offered a fillet knife ... the folders were back locks and went from a small pocket knife to a larger beefier knife with a belt pouch sheath much like Buck's 110 ...

their first selling point was that you could set on on a flat surface with blade edge down and the handles were shaped so it stood that way and the blade didn't touch ...

they are actually nice knives ... not anything fancy but well built and at the time VG-10 was one of the better steels ...

I have 3 or 4 still ... two folders and two fixed one being the fillet knife ... this is the medium folder in the center ...

I will get on the desktop and post a pic in a minute ... the only one I have a picture of right now to post ...
