Well, I have officially completely lost my mind. I'm not one to buy anything extravegant, just something that will get the job done. I always purchase items representing a high amount of value. Must have been the late hour and lack of sleep but two nights ago I ordered a Kirby Lambert Inferno and it's on the way. That dang Inferno is too damn sweet! There are many others that I absolutely love, but I found myself coming back to it again and again. I guess I'll find out what the world of custom knives is all about. It will be interesting to see if I can bring myself to put it to use or if it will just sit at home waiting for me to get off duty  . I've never thought of knives as "collectables". I've treated them as working tools.

I'll post some pics and impressions when it arrives.

CONGRATS!! I agree that the Inferno IS sooooo sweeeeeet!! DO use it!! I am very excited for you. Welcome to the wonderful world of custom knives!!

Kirby is an outstanding craftsman, I'm sure you'll love the inferno. Post some pics when you get it man!

Sir, you have made a FINE choice. You'll never regret it.

But...if you do...give me a call (or an e-mail)!

The inferno was my first custom, you are going to love it. It is great knife from a great guy. I would recommmend Kirby's work to anyone, and you will want to use it. This is mine.

I use it a lot.

That is sweet! The curves and grinds on those blades is what seduced me ! We need some drooling smilies here. :D
