I have a 4" Kutright Stockman, with what I believe to be a lambsfoot blade. How can I tell a lambsfoot from a sheepsfoot blade. I do wish I could figure out how to post pictures here.

It would be very rare if your stockman had a lambsfoot blade - the traditional combo on stockmen is a full size clip with small sheepsfoot and spey blades.

In the picture below:
The top knife is a Wharncliffe (straight edge, spine slopes to an acute point).
The middle knife is a lambsfoot (straight edge, spine angles down towards point, with an elbow near the end down to the point).
The bottom knife is a sheepsfoot (straight edge, spine parallel to the edge, with an elbow near the end down to the point).
Note that there are other types of straight edge blade not pictured here, as well (rope knives, short beak, coping, etc.).

Edited: Jerbhola89 Jerbhola89 beat me to it while I was editing my post. Just go read Charlie's post that he linked to.

This attempt to upload a photo worked at first, and then it stopped working. I don't know what else to do.
The knife on the left is the Kutright with the blade I think might be a lambsfoot opened. On the right is a 1976 Boker Congress with the sheepsfoot blade opened.

That's just a Sheepsfoot with a worn blade

In terms of photographs, you might want to ask in the Technical subforum

Killdeer, welcome to the Forum! I know exactly what you can do to post pics. Purchase a membership especially if you’re going to be spending more time here. It’s well worth the investment and keeps the lights on 😀.
