I bought this Ducks Unlimited 77UH thinking it had possibilities. Nope, not 877UH, 77UH. Yeah, it will never be a restored jewel, and never have a resale value, but I thought it was worth a few bucks as a user. It's only problem is the master blade tip is gone. I am thinking it can be reprofiled, probably without destroying the etch.
Anyone feel like fooling with a busted Schrade? Yeah, I could put it on the grinder myself, but I'd overheat it, and my only stone is coarse. Now, I've seen the work you fellows have been doing lately rehabilitating old knives, and making new ones, and I must say I'm impressed. Anyone want to take a crack at this one? A shortened Turkish clip?
