Wow- that looks so much like what I've been looking for in a Bowie! Congrtulations on a beautiful knife! Do you know the specs? That may just be the coolest hamon I've ever seen.

thanks fellas, Don that is some of the Walnut I recieved from you, as you know I really like it.

Specs-
Forged from 5/16" 1075, blade is 10" long x 2" wide, convex edge, sharp clip. Overall length is 15-1/8", plenty of handle there to swing that blade.
Guard/Pins are Stainless, handle is Missouri black walnut.

The 1075 takes a bit different hamon, you cant see it in the pics but there is all kind of cool stuff going on within the primary line of the hamon.
 
Matt, you're making some gorgeous knives! They really deserve to be photographed by Coop or some other professional. Love those hamons! :thumbup:
