Hello friends, here I show a cuchilloTanto not traditional started a while ago and just finished.
The blade is made of steel 4034 and 1095.
Sira saya: Ebony, jacaranda of Bolivia and separators alpaca
Nagasa: 9.5 '
Habaki: Bronze

Very nicely executed rendition or personal interpretation of the Tanto.

That's a gorgeous knife! The blade is obviously a piece of art -- and the woodworking is superior. Great job!

What hardness are you running the 1095 at?

What hardness are you running the 1095 at?
The 1095 give the hardness is 58-59 hrc after annealing
