After having spent years chasing the tactical folders I've regained my interest in the more traditional style and these three have recently caught my attention. Sorry, no pictures, no digital capabilities.

I think the Trapper pattern is self-explanatory. I actually picked up an Irish made Sabre version, missing one handle scale, for ninety-nine cents at a thrift store. Haven't used it much but it sharpened up nicely.

Has anyone tried the Schrade Old Timer Land Shark? Looks like a really useful folder.

I was digging through my knife box and found a Rough Rider model they call the Deer Slayer. Marbles and Schrade both make similar patterns, Schrade calls theirs a clasp knife. Cold Steel even made a model a few years ago, I forget what they called it. Any info on this pattern? Blade about 4" long, wide blade deep belly short clip. Looks like the epitome of an old folding hunter.

Thanx
