Found this old Case at a pawn shop.
The guy wanted 20 bucks for it and I talked him down to 12 :)
WELL worn and the spay blade appears to have been turned into a little Scalpel at some point in it's history.
Not mint or even decent but good steel and a good snap. I am cleaning and oiling her up!

Now that one's got some history behind it, I'm sure. :thumbup:

Looks like 1940-1964 vintage, so it's got ~50 years of life experience, maybe a lot more. And it looks like that was a busy life. Good to see it's not done yet. :)

Thanks folks!
What I like about it is the re-profiled Scalpel Blade and the color of the Red Bone scales is a bit lighter color from my other Red Bone Case knives, even different from the USA that I have.

What a wonderful old knife.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Clean it up with the loving care it deserves, and listen carefully, it may have some great stories to tell if you listen well.

Carl.
