Have the boundaries for acceptable language in the General Forum been expanded?

I have been issued a warning (no big deal) for using a common vulgarity referring to fecal matter but with all its letters replaced with asterisks.

Now I am seeing that same word used all over General with none of its letters replaced.

Is that word now "in play"?

The mods can't see everything all the time. If you see something report it.
 
It is highly unlikely we are going to take action against a single vulgarity casually used in an otherwise legitimate post.

A rant or personal attack, going on at some length with vulgarity used to incite, will be shut down or warnings/infractions issued.
