Lanny Clip by new SA maker

I was in SA earlier this year for the show and also went down to Port Elizabeth to collect my last knife, very sadly, from Rob Brown's wife.

While there amongst all the amazing knife-making talent in PE, I met Thys Meades for the first time - also mentored, amongst others, by the late very great, Rob Brown.

Thys Meades, I think we'll hear more of somehow.

Here's his first ever Lanny Clip and only second ever folder, the first just being having a go to see if I could do it........!

That knife looks like the work of a seasoned slipjoint maker not someone's second one they've ever made. I believe your right that we will see much more from Thys Meades. Great knife thanks for posting.:thumbup:
