This just showed up in the mail today.
Joe Allen made it for me.
I knew he does really clean work but this knife exceeded my expectations.
Thank You Joe! I love it.
The steel is CPM-154, the scales are Rosewood Burl.
Sorry about the poor photos.

That's some beautiful wood, and Joe makes a super fine folder. Congrats!

Show us the other side? :)

Mark,
We all know Joes work is superb. I,m sure this folder is nothing short of his attention for fit and finish. The pictures on the other hand are not up to par. How is it you can take such good pictures of wood? :)

He makes his living selling wood. I figured out that I don't actually sell knives. I sell pictures of knives. They commit and send money based not on the knife, but on the picture. Once the knife is in their hand, they're either satisfied or not, but they committed based on the picture. I suspect Mark sells wood, but isn't trying to sell this knife :)

I appreciate this thread. ;)

Nice folder.

My wood photos stink as well.
This just proves that it takes a whole lot more than just a good camera to get good photos.
Every time I try to take photos of a new knife my respect for the talents for Coop and other knife photographers grows.

Maybe you should send it to Coop or just send it to me for inspection and my "one year test" :)

You are exactly right Jason, sometimes a knife looks better than the photo and sometimes not as good. Even our end of year BF Best Bowie competition is basically a knife photo contest. If the knives were laid out on a table for physical inspection the results could and probably would be a bit different.

Anyway, back to the folder. The Lanny's Clip is one of my favorite patterns and that Rosewood is beautiful, congratulations Mark.
