So, the impetus for this post is all the fault of mitch13 mitch13 ...!

Have quite a few LC folders and haven't bought one in a while now. Seeing mitch13 mitch13 's the other week prompted me to contact Kizer in USA, and hey presto, two weeks later, here she is - the one at the bottom in the pics.

Would suggest this is a thoroughly precision made gentleman's Lannys Clip folder - not for hard use, though some would say why not.

The walk n talk on this one is high pitched and just so cool. There's a recess in the butt to add a lanyard, which I will. Blade 74mm, cutting edge 63mm. The damascus blade - know not what the steels are, but very nicely done - and it's through n through.......not an etched 'damascus'.

Here in UK have been asked - does it compare to the Jack Wolf of similar style.........yes, but the JW is more robust and solid, slightly bigger.

This Kizer Trestle is in a class of its own for modern Lanny's Clip folders on the showy side, yet still highly functional. If it has a close compatriot, then likely the JE Made Lanny's Clip folders are similar in size and feel.

The Romano and the Dowell are in a class of their own, simply stunning........but the price difference is of great magnitude too.

Please post away with any of your own Lanny's Clip folders and their old n new / traditional n interpretation differences...

This one is in my pocket today. LC Jr. from Brent Cramer. The flip phone was retired long ago.

Me 😇😇 or😈😈
Great collection of a very cool pattern.
The Damascus on the trestle is very good, considering the price, holds a good edge too.
It's great that makers are producing quality takes on traditionals.

Brilliant collection Paul........absolutely beautiful bud.;)

Got this Lanny’s 20 years ago, it was my first TBose and I had never handled anything like it with slipjoints. Built like a tank, D2 and some amazing multi-tone bone with black fleck. I prefer single blades and you can’t go wrong with a Lanny’s!
