This one has a 3.5mm thick 52100 blade and stainless hardware, linen OD scales. The bolsters are riveted rather than soldered, welded or machined. The blade is just under 3 inches long

The nail slot is cut out with a Woodruff cutter. Due to the thickness of the blade, it is hollow ground.

that is a sweet little design. I just love it.

I am a big fan of pins and rivets rather than screws. I haven't gotten into the, "tactical,' styling yet. Especially on fodders.

What is a Woodruff cutter (something for a milling machine)? I am going to Google that now. Thanks for the information.

The blade itself looks just about perfect for a daily use pocket kni
It looks like the dome on the pin needs to be peened a little more, but I could be.

I have a 7 stars pattern in a sheath I am making (it represents the Big Dipper but doesn't look just like it). I have a couple of pins that the dome did not seat as well as I wanted. I am going to tape the sheath (it has a brass frame around a wood body) and go to town with a polished punch until I get it right. I may be seeing things wrong, but I thought I would ask.

I think the knife is great.
