Hi guys i wanna ask whether can i use the carbide sharpener of the Lansky Blade Medic to sharpen a Cold Steel Kukri? Thanks:)

Sure, just use very light pressure when pulling through.

A great, more expensive option is the work sharp tool belt grinder for about $80, but it would give you the best performce with the least amount of time and effort.

About $40 nets you a Harbor Freight 1x30 and gives more flexibility in one belts you use with it. Less portable, but another good choice.

Rather than using a carbide sharpener, which universally gets the angle wrong (too thick), I'd use a file if doing the work manually.

Haha sure, whatever works

honestly it just depends how much time and effort the user wants to invest to gain shapening skill and knowledge.

The items you've recommend work great and are cheap but have a higher learning curve.

It's entirely possible to put an edge on a cold steel kukri with a lasky blade medic that will get the job done.

If a higher performance is desired then more time and effort and investment in better tools and techniques is a given.

Rock on.
